Covariance Change Point Detection for Graph Signals

We propose a new approach for covariance change point detection applied to graph signals. Specifically, our method draws on the notion of graph stationarity to derive a relevant parameterization of the covariance matrix that can be used in a cost…

Machine-learning enhanced predictors for accelerated convergence of partitioned fluid-structure interaction simulations

Stable partitioned techniques for simulating unsteady fluid-structure interaction (FSI) are known to be computationally expensive when high added-mass is involved. Multiple coupling strategies have been developed to accelerate these simulations, but…

Bayesian trial of adalimumab versus secukinumab for children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis associated uveitis or chronic anterior uveitis

Background Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA)-associated uveitis and chronic anterior uveitis in children may result in permanent sight loss. Currently, the only licensed and approved treatment for JIA-uveitis is adalimumab. However, even in…

Decoupling actions of finite-dimensional Lie groups and of groups of diffeomorphisms in the large deformation framework

In computational anatomy, the Large Deformation Diffeomorphic Metric Mapping (LDDMM) framework has become a central tool for modeling smooth, invertible transformations between shapes such as curves or landmarks. In this paper, we extend this…
