Graduate outcomes of former doctoral students
Context and opportunities
The Centre Borelli welcomes doctoral students from a wide variety of fields. It also accepts atypical profiles, including professional reconversions. Given its openness to the socio-economic world, the Centre Borelli also provides training through research for young doctors who intend to join the private sector or the administration, convinced that the massive presence of doctors in these sectors is a determining factor in establishing balanced and quality exchanges between the private sector, the administration and academic players. Furthermore, a number of our PhD graduates also hold international positions.
Finally, thanks its positioning on the math-medicine interface, the Centre Borelli also inspires the development of doctoral theses in science, followed by bridges to medicine. For example, several young researchers have turned to the medical sector after completing a thesis at the Centre Borelli.
